Today was the first day of my practicum and it actually went really well and I enjoyed it! I'm currently doing my practicum at Computers for Schools B.C which is a non profit organization that supplies computers for libraries, schools and ect. These are a couple pictures of what the place looks like.The back area is pretty big warehouse where all the computers/monitors/printers are stored. It looks a lot bigger in person. So once I got there in the morning I was given an order right away. I had to get 5 laptops and make sure that they have the specs that are requested in the order. It took me pretty much all day to get all 5 ready to be shipped because I had to put in the appropriate hardware in them and then do a Burn-In test and install Win7 onto them. While the laptops were doing their thing I started my next order of 30 monitors, which is a pretty simple order, you just have to clean them and make sure that that actually work so its not hard at all, just time consuming. So that was pretty much my first day and I'll inform you guys what I do in tomorrow blog
